In fact, we have had 5 of our family members come here for short-term rehabilitation therapy and 2 are now here on a longer-term basis. We have been impressed by how well maintained the facility is, the professional and courteous staff, the excellent rehab program, the wonderful food and dining service as well as the other amenities offered, which clearly assist in bolstering the spirit of the residents. Alden has created a comfortable, friendly environment not only for the residents but also for visitors. "I am proud to recommend Alden Des Plaines Rehabilitation. The facility is very nice and comfortable – I was lucky to be cared for there. The therapists are extra special people who care about every patient who comes through the doors, even if they aren’t assigned to help that particular person. They work very hard with us to help make sure we keep improving and meeting our goals. The nursing staff is wonderful too. Their initial care is important to recover and they continually give great care. The CNAs are very thoughtful; if you need something and are unable to get it for yourself, they are always there to help you accomplish the task. The Activities staff is very friendly and lots of fun. My hats off to Alden!"
